Mike Vann


Mike founded HomeRun Electronics in 2000 and is passionate about its success.  He received a BA in accounting in 1986 and obtained his CPA license in 1989.  Prior to HomeRun, Mike spent the majority of his career in managed health care, serving in a variety of high level financial and operational roles.  He is married with one daughter and they continue to enjoy all that Colorado has to offer.

Mark Hockenberg

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Hockenberg joined HomeRun Electronics in November of 2020. His passion for HomeRun’s mission was sparked by his experience building a home automation backbone in his personal residence. Mark began his career in public accounting with Andersen Consulting before holding senior financial management roles in both for-profit and non-profit organizations He holds a master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Kelley School of Business | Indiana University and an active Colorado CPA license. While originally from Omaha, Nebraska, he has lived in Colorado for more than 2 decades. He and his wife Miriam enjoy overseas travel and keep busy with their horses Barney and Rambo.

Jason Pearce

Director of Operations

Jason started in the consumer electronics/builder industry in 1992, and joined HomeRun Electronics in 2009. As a self-employed touring standup comedian in the 80’s, Jason gained a wealth of knowledge on business, and people. He attended UCCS Collage of business. He is married, has two adult children. In his off time, he can be found rock crawling his Jeep in the Colorado Mountains and surrounding states.

Robert Pedregon

Director of Operations

Robert joined the HomeRun team as the Director of Operations for the Denver market in 2022, bringing a wealth of knowledge from nearly 3 decades of experience in the home-technology and building industries. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has two adult sons, along with a beautiful grandson. Robert is a Denver native and has many hobbies such as motorcycles, DJing for fun (and professionally), enjoying live music, along with rooting on his Denver Broncos.

David Wilson

Director of Sales

David started working for HomeRun in 2003 and has worn almost every “hat” the company has to offer. A Colorado native, he attended Fort Lewis College in Durango to receive his BA, with an emphasis in Marketing. After college, David’s professional path and personal interests led him to HomeRun, paving the way to what has become a rewarding career. He is married with two sons, a house full of dogs and an IPA in hand.

Jeremy Cox

Manager, Divisional Operations

Jeremy has been with HomeRun since 2009 and has been in the home-technology industry since 2002. Prior to moving to Colorado, Jeremy spent most of his time in his hometown of Syracuse, New York running operations for the McKenzie Childs headquarters. He is married and enjoys operating a horse-boarding facility with his wife in Black Forest, Colorado.

Jake Heying

Manager, Commercial Division

Manager, Home Technology Design

Jake has dedicated his professional career to the technology industry, having started with HomeRun Electronics in 2014 after spending the previous four years with Best Buy. Jake worked to open HomeRun’s Arizona branch before returning to Colorado Springs in 2021 to manage the commercial division, as well as the Colorado sales teams. He received a BA in Marketing in 2010 from Buena Vista University where he met his wife, Jess. They currently have two young boys who enjoy attending Rockies and Broncos games.

Kerry Anderson

Manager, business Development

Kerry has been with HomeRun Electronics since January of 2016. Prior to that, he worked for a major systems integrator in California for 20 years. He has been in the home-technology business for decades and has a passion for customer service. He enjoys craft beer, fishing, and playing music at his church.

Carl Sporie

Manager, Home Technology Design

Carl joined the HomeRun team in 2020 as the Arizona sales manager with nearly 2 decades of experience in home technology under his belt. He has managed technology installation crews for custom homes as well as production builders. Carl oversees design and installation for the Phoenix market, while also focusing on business development. Ideal weekend: Family in the truck, bikes in the back, with the destination being the great outdoors.

Glenn Montjoy

Marketing Manager

Glenn joined the HomeRun Electronics team in 2016 after running his own integration business for ten years. Before branching into the world of home electronics, he spent 12 years working in the operation, design and construction of recording studios. He holds a associate degree in audio engineering from Full Sail University. In his off hours, you can find him climbing on a rock, enjoying a hike, or traveling the world with his wife and border collie.
